Shopping for ideas

When it comes to crafting, I've pretty much got an overload of ideas. Between ideas I find on Pinterest and the ones I find on the Dollar Tree/Cricut craft group on Facebook, I have more ideas than I know what to do with. It gets a little overwhelming when I have that many. So why then did I feel the need to take pictures in Walmart of things I saw and thought I could make that?
The last time I was in Walmart, I wandered down the Easter isle and saw a few things I thought were cute but knew I could make them myself instead of buying them.

I've come to the conclusion that collecting ideas and buying craft supplies is a totally different hobby than crafting.

I have been up and down their Easter aisles this year many times, and bought one third of it! But none of these. I love shopping there for all their seasonal décor!

I was at Dollar Tree the other Day & saw nothing I liked...guess maybe I should sign up for their crafting newsletter?

I feel almost the same way about quilting!

I would agree with you. I have lots of ideas, but never the time to complete many of the items on my list of ideas. Maybe I am just a craft idea collector instead of an actual crafter?

For me one of the downsides of the internet is that there are so many ideas that I spend too much time looking at or for and my own creativity is suffering and I lack time. lol

I never walk down craft aisles or decorating aisles. guess what aisle I hit every time I go to WM???? are you ready???? Techie stuff, I wander the tablets, computers, cell phones. I have been in that dept ever week for months now. I see so much I want and can't have yet I want to see what is there.

Quilting is like that--you collect the "stash" of fabric and then save it for "that one quilt"....that you never make. I have vowed to clean out the stash this year. Let me know if you need any fabric for your projects.

You are so talented and you can make them even better than the ones you found. Good for you.

Have a fabulous day off tomorrow. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I'm full of ideas as well...I just spent this morning an hour or so at uTube as I thought of something overnight that I could make, but couldn't remember the finer details of it all.
Now since I "watched" and semi did a few things whilst "pause mode" have decided that idea isn't what I want... but it started me thinking a bit more on ???

HAHA...I need NO more ideas. If I was to do all I have pinned on Pinterest I would need to be a 100 PLUS! haha....I love the cute bunnies.

I think that's a valid hobby, too. If you enjoy doing it and don't wind up with TOO much stuff you'll never use.
