Play time

It's been a while since I've used with my kaleidoscope program. Every now and then it's fun to sit and play.
Playing is also known as "mindless distraction from all the other things I should be doing".
It's pretty easy to figure out what most of those were pictures of but starting at the top and going left to right they were pictures of:
the flag
a box of pins
a marigold
sparklers
hydrangea
a hood ornament on the front of an old ford.

They are all cool, but I like the flag the very best.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

You're reminding me of Lucy in the sky with diamonds for some reason.

Sandee, me too, but then I always like the red white and blue theme

urban cowboy, ah yes, the girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

I am not familiar with the kaleidoscope program you mention but the finished results are very fun. I imagine it could become addicting to play with :)

Those were awesome! I've never heard of that program, but it looks like it would be fun to play with. I'm glad you told us what the objects were, because the only one I could guess for sure was the first one.
Can you do one with Duke??

I like these kaleidoscoped pictures. The sparklers are an excellent subject for this.

Pretty easy to figure out huh? I could tell the flag and marigolds and that's it! I do like all of them - you have such fun toys to play with!

What a neat program - I love the pins!

Whoa! I didn't even know there was a program like this! awesome!

I like the box of pins and the old Ford hood ornament the best. Now, not to try to outdo you or anything, but I can get about the same effect if I squint my eyes real tight. Getting a publishable print has been a problem, but I'll keep trying.

Fascinating results from the kaleidoscope! I have my eyes on the sparklers and the flag too.
Brilliant work! :D

They are stunning! THe pins seems like the most classic k-scope toy image, but they are all very interesting.

You always have such beautiful and amazing things on your blog, Ann. I always look forward to seeing your next project.

Pretty shapes, but I have no idea how you make those if it is a computer-program. I only know how a real kaleidoscope works.
Best wishes,
Anna

LDH, it can be addicting. I hesitated forever buying it and then finally broke down about a year ago. I don't use it often but have fun with it every now and then

tahtimbo I can and have done one of Duke. I'll have to see if I can dig it up or maybe just do a new one altogether

Ratty yes the sparklers worked out well

Katie thanks, flowers usually seem to work the best but the pins were a good choice

Grace, I've always been fascinated by kaleidoscopes

beaded tail well it was for me since I knew what they all were...lol

marie it's fun when I don't have anything else to do :)

stephanie yep, there sure is. There may be others but this one is called Dazzling reflections

Fishhawk. and does it require taking any medications prior to squinting?

Junezach thanks

philippa, it's called Dazzling Reflections

Vanilla seven I thought the hood ornament looked pretty cool

Roschelle I've always wanted to be cool. YEAH I'M FINALLY COOL...lol

tanyia you would not believe how many of these silly things I've made :)

Leeuna aw shucks, that's so nice of you.

Anna well you have me beat because I don't know how a real one works

No, but good drugs are often greatly desired afterward.

poetic shutterbug thanks so much. I think the reason I like this blog so much is that it challenges me to come up with this stuff. Keeps the wheels turning so to speak ;)
