The colors of autumn

Duke and I ventured beyond our yard to look for some autumn color.
First I'll show you my two favorites.
This one has perhaps a little too much green in it but further down the tracks you can see the fall colors.

Nothing spectacular but I liked it

This one was Duke's favorite. He said we had to have a picture of this.

I like them all, but Duke getting his favorite shot in made me smile. I think our Little Bit would agree with Duke on this. Just saying.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

That Duke! Just don't post it near his bed at night - his dream might turn into a mistake!
The stream is so pretty.

man over board, yes the tree in my front yard has only a couple stray leaves hanging on now. Somehow I think all the dead leaves multiply in my yard over the winter.

Carole Barkett said...

I like the perspective :O)

Unknown said...

Yep, it's getting there. By the way, is it a stupid question to ask if Duke has indeed "marked" that hydrant as being his very own or is that picture just meant to help him decide?

Ann said...

country mouse studios, thank you

fishhawk I don't believe that Duke has left his official mark on that particular hydrant. maybe he's saving it for a special occasion

These are a lovely set of enchanting and colourful photos ... too nice to keep to yourself so thank you for sharing them. I hope that you consider framing at least one of them.

Ann said...

Kloggers, why thank you very much and it was a pleasure to share them with all of you. I often consider framing lots of my photos but very rarely get around to ever doing it

DSS said...

He would like that, wouldn't he? I'm behind, behind, behind...catching up now. Can't wait to see Duke's costume :)

Ann said...

DSS but of course :) It's ok if you're behind around here, we're patient, we can wait for you to catch up...lol
