My crafty stash had all the ingredients I needed to put together a little something for Halloween. I just knew there was a reason why I hung on to some of this stuff. You just never know when you're going to need it.
With the little help from my Cricut machine I now have a cute little decoration for my table. Other supplies that I used and already had on hand were:
clay pot
meat skewers
ribbon
spanish moss
and of course paper
I made another one of those spiders that I used on one of my cards. This time for his eyes I used green sequins with a white seed bead glued to it. I attached him to a piece of string and hung him from one of the accordion folded flowers.
I also cut out a pumpkin with my Cricut and made a ghost with a piece of white fabric and fabric stiffener but I thought they were a bit much when I tried to fit them in. I'll just have to save those for another project.

Very cute! I think the green and white eyes probably are perfect.
Sweeet! ....except spiders....gulp, at least they're NOT REAL.
I love Halloween and your festive centerpiece. Love the spider's eyes!
Fun centerpiece! I always love seeing your crafty creations!
That's pretty darn cool!
That is so cool! I know that my wife would love to have that on her desk at work. This is a great project!
You are amazingly creative ann. I love the transparent ribbon with spiders pattern. They look like web!
Love this Ann! Halloween colors are such fun ~ when else do you get to use black, orange and purple!!
Look at you, you crafty girl ~ so cute! You are so right ~ you just can't throw anything away when there are crafts to be made! :)
Hope you are having a good week Ann!

Woof! Woof! WOW Crafty Lady ANN. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
annie, you are brilliant and super creative! you need to go into business.
you'd make a small fortune =D
There is nothing quite so magical as a spider. We have an enormous one that runs around the house at such a speed you couldn't catch it if you tried. Even the cat, so far hasn't come near .... so we've given it a name.
It is dark brown with long, long legs and it's abdomen looks slightly deformed on the one side - in fact, an ideal candidate for Halloween. We think that it may be a him - of course - we could be wrong. In any case we have named our house guest ... 'Henry!' Wished I could run as fast as he does - will I ever be able to scoop him up and out of the door? Will I ever be able to even take a photo? I wonder just how fast spiders can run?
Just love your Halloween decorations Ann!!
Wow, after working so hard on this project, I imagine you hate it now being infested with spiders. I hope you can find a way to get rid of them without messing it up.
Great job Ann. Never throw any crafting materials away. You never know when they will come in handy. My wife has a whole portable cabinet full.
Great centerpiece, Ann! and not scary but just fun. Hmm, if I change the colors and the alphabets from "boo" to "Joy" it would also make a great Christmas center piece.
I have an award for you on my blog.
That's just too cute!! I'm not much of a Halloween person, maybe because we have Thanksgiving before Halloween. Still recuperating from that!
Good job, I like the spider dangling. The accordian could be a web.
This is great! Everything is so wonderfully made and looks perfect.
What a wonderful little project Ann...I kind of envy you your creativity...I try but nothing ever comes out looking even remotely as good as what you come up with!!
Sharkbytes, thanks, I think the eyes looked pretty good

roschelle thanks, I think the only thing that holds me back is that I'm afraid it would take the fun out of it
kloggers I wish that I could be as thrilled about my house guests :) Henry sounds like quite the character.
fishhawk I was a little disheartened when I discovered that a spider had taken up residence but then I figured since it was Halloween I would let him stay.
russ it is the first cardinal rule of crafters, and my husband doesn't understand it one bit :)

erika thank you, I was pretty happy with it
allotments4you I often feel the same way when I try to copy something I see in a magazine or online. The other version always looks so much better than mine :)
That is so great. You are one of the few people who can actually make me wish I were crafty.
How FUN Miz Ann! You have such a wonderful gift!!

I always enjoy what you come up with Annie, thanks for posting.

donna fun to make fun to look at, fun is what it's all about :)
gayle I had a whole stash of clay pots that I had bought for who knows what reason and never used. I was glad to finally find a use for them :)
miawa aw, how sweet and you are so welcome.
You have been a busy lady! These are seriously so cute! You have inspired me to make something for the dining room table. I bought a beautiful bunch of flowers for ours but they are now in the laundry room because Pumpkin tried to eat them.
Sheri doing this kind of stuff keeps my mind occupied which is a good thing :) Pumpkin liked the flowers huh?
