Horror in the hood

Duke and I were out for a walk around the neighborhood enjoying the sunshine and the fresh air. We walked along taking in the sights, looking for a few interesting things to take pictures of.
Suddenly Duke came to a stop and assumed the full alert position.

(Hey, wasn't he just freshly groomed the other day?)

We both stood in disbelief at what we saw. I never in my wildest imagination thought that this could happen in my neighborhood.

It was awful I tell you, just awful.

I tried to get more shot but Duke wanted to get out of there. I raised the camera one more time and just as I was pressing the shutter button
Duke reached the end of his leash and we were off and running

Great post Ann. Too Funny. I did however feel a little bad for Duke. Looks like he was really trying to figure out what is going on.

I get amazed at the decorations and ideas some people have. I have 2 pumpkins still uncarved, and no candy yet. This may be an all time record for the candy except a few years back when I was overseas.

my love to lil ole Duke!

Duke is a very smart little man and knows when to head home. Just saying.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

Duke, you are one smart dude. There might have been aliens on that plane or something horrible coming out of those grave sites. That was really scary. Tell Mom those were great pictures.
Have a fun week.

Duke is one smart Pup!!! This Ozark Farm Chick would head for the hills too! I fear my Tiger the Wonder Dog would not be as swift. Shhhhh, don't tell him but he's just not the brightest crayon in the box! Heeehehe!

I popped over from Mad Snapper and am so glad I did.

God bless ya'll from the beautiful hills and hollers of the Missouri Ponderosa!!!

Julie, I think he was more tired of me standing there taking pictures than scared but it worked for me :)

Audrey the plane is huge, that's a two story house and it's almost as high as the roof

jsharkbytes I've been meaning to get up there and get a picture for a while now, I just wish they would have had the other thing blown up when I was there. Another post maybe

Kathleen :) you're welcome

gayle. it was fun too :)

reeni lol, especially with Duke around

Amanda yep that's the one, the one with the big green blowup godzilla or whatever it is.

Jean I do my best

Grace ah yes my masterpiece with the assistance of my trusty sidekick lol

Beaded tail it's amazing how much strength he has for his size

vanilla seven yep it sure is scary

fishhawk me sued? the dog is the one who was trying to give me whiplash

Jen, perhaps we went to the same photography school :)

Russ I'm really not sure what caught his attention in that picture but it worked for the story :)

Ann Yes, Duke is a cutie pie. Thanks for dropping by and I'll stop and see you in a bit, don't want you to lose track of me :)
I wonder why it wouldn't let you follow, could be a blogger glitch that will clear up the next time you try

Sheri this is the first year they have put the plane up, they usually have a HUGE blow up godzilla but it wasn't filled the day we walked by

out on the prairie we have a few people around here that really go all out. We haven't gotten pumpkins yet but we do have candy

Anny it can be at times, not many people decorate like that but a few

Erika we were talking about that at work the other day, What's a plane got to do with Halloween. Who knows

Sandee yes he is

Marg we never thought about aliens, good thing we got the heck out of there :)

Nezzy we won't say a thing to your Tiger. I'm glad you popped over too, hope to see you around more often.
