More editing

Doing the before and after challenge the other day got me in the mood to do some more creative edits. That also translates into my weekend didn't go according to plan. Yes I did do a little (and I do mean little) bit of cleaning, I did work on some craft projects, even finished one. Mostly I laid around, took naps and did a whole lot of nothing. It was rather nice.
So today I'm going to give you a couple more edits I did.

This was taken in the back yard. Just as I was taking the picture the bird started to fly away. Couldn't have worked out better.

now I have a before and after. I was outside enjoying the warmer weather yesterday and just thought the sky looked rather pretty.

The textured overlay that I used in all of these was one that I got from Shadowhouse Creations. Amazing stuff over there and he generously offers it all for free.

Yes, we all know it's your birthday tomorrow. Too late.

I love the last shot a lot. That really spiced up the sky.

I'm glad you took a lot of time for yourself this weekend. That's important to do now and then.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

I like the mysterious look of the first photo. Great capture of the bird!

Sometimes weekends are meant for naps and laying around so glad you were able to enjoy it!

I really hate adding to the chorus. For you already have more than enough, "Wow, great picture, Ann!;" "TOO CUTE!" and "Oh how I wish I could do the things you do," ringing in your ears, but the first and third images here are nothing short of truly outstanding. Yeah, it seems to be getting worse.

Happy Birthday Ann. Tanyia told your secret. She didn't say how old you were. I'll leave it at that. The first and last pictures are my favorites.

Ann - I have to tell you that I had the most bizarre dream Saturday night while we were away. I woke up with the distinct knowledge that both Louis and Duke had escaped, and were on a trek together. Somewhat like that Disney movie.

They were safe, together, but we didn't know where they were and we were both terrified. And somehow we knew they were together.

Perhaps a few too many Mint Juleps were to blame?

grace, I always seem to like looking at the sky through the trees

miawa, thanks

ginny I rather liked that one myself

sandee, tammy, thank you so much

dss oh my that sounds like some dream but I can just imagine the adventures that Louis and Duke could have together :) Just how many mint juleps did you have...lol

These are such gorgeous images, Ann. I would love to learn how to use photoshop or something similar. It seems so difficult.

Tammy, thanks. It took me a while to get the hang of photoshop but once I figured it out, it is so much fun
