I've always said that I didn't handle change well. The more I think about it the more I believe that I do handle it well, I just don't always like it. Let's face it, not all change is good. I would have to say that I've had more bad change than good this year but I'm confident in saying that I'm handling it well. Maybe not perfectly, but well.
One of the changes was the pool. I showed you the picture recently of what it looked like. I was really quite angry with Wade for not taking care of it. There are several things that I'm angry with him about but that's maybe another post. Anyway, the pool is gone.
The neighbor came over either Thursday or Friday evening and tore it down. Come to think of it I think it was on Thursday that he started and then he came back Friday to finish up and haul it out of there. All that's left is the liner that I need to get out there and cut up and take out to the trash. The end closest to where I was standing in the picture is dug down about 6 inches and the other end is pretty level. Something will have to be done to fill that in and then the opening on the deck where the steps went into the pool will need to be taken care of. Not a major concern at the moment though.
In other news. On Thursday when I was mowing the lawn, I had finished the back and was about 1/2 done with the front when I heard a clunk. It was right after that I noticed that my self-propelled mower was no longer propelling itself. I guess I'm going to need to learn to use the rider. Otherwise, I'm going to kill myself trying to push that mower without it helping.
