The house that mice built

May 6th I finally got my car in to have the blower motor replaced. They called to say they had the old one out and it was stuffed with junk that looked like mice had probably been building a nest in there.

When I got there to pick it up he showed me how bad it was and he said that there had been even more stuffed in there.

I now have heat/air in my vehicle again. I mentally prepared myself for up to $1,000. It made it a little easier when he told me the total was $486. I suppose I should just be happy that I was able to pay it. Now I need to repair my bank account and work on getting a new washer.

I despise mice. They are destructive little creatures. I'm glad it was a lot less than you had planned for, but yes, still a lot. I hope you have a great day!!

I would never have thought of mice being involved. I am glad it was less thatbyou expected. But that was still bad enough.

Oh my gosh! Mice are so destructive. Good luck with new washer...I hope you find one that actually washes clothes. I have one that is low water and it is awful.

Wow, that is a lot of stuff. I'm glad it did not cost as much as you had feared! I guess it partly depends on how hard it is to reach the part.

How crazy is that. I had a mouse build a home in my glove box one time! lol

Glad to hear it wasn't anything more serious.
Still creepy to think of a mouse building a nest there.

Ooooh, the stinkers! That was a great price that you got to fix the blower. Pulling the dashboard is usually at least $1000. Whew! I know it is still a lot of Money, but at least it is fixed!

Mice can do such damage. I've heard of them getting into your car and eating the wires. I'm glad that didn't happen.

Well that must have been a surprise! Glad your bill wasn’t as high as you thought but still a big chunk of change.

Oh my, that's crazy about the mice. I'm so glad it is all fixed and that the cost was lower than you thought it would be. Hope you can get that washer soon. Have a nice weekend.
