Birthday card

One of the girls at work has a birthday coming up. Yeah! An excuse to make another card. Like I really need one.
She's a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and I was going to make something related to that but then I changed my mind. So this is what she's getting. A little more girly than football, but I think she'll like it.

Hey, my wife is also a huge Steelers fan, but she would love a card like that, as well. Yukky girls.

Dear Ann,
Very pretty! I like it; I think she will too.
Thank you for your kind words on my Saturday Centus #23-post yesterday.
To answer your question: Yes, I would love to write something longer. In fact I do have some stories stacked away. I confess. I am a writer-wannbe.
Best wishes & hugs,
Anna

I am sure she will love it! I once saw supplies for this type of art in a local shop. I thought, "this would be interesting to learn." That lasted two seconds as I realized that I would have to get these eyes and fingers to make those tiny loops and such.
Your work is great, Ann.

Grace, thanks, I'm really starting to love these colors

roschelle thanks, looking a bit fallish huh?

allotments4you thanks it is kind of nice especially with the price these days to buy one

duni too bad I wasn't more consistent with it...lol

fishhawk Yukky girls huh? well...darn if I can't come up with a witty comeback for that

russ thank you I hope she does

outontheprairie glad you got it

marg girly is nice sometimes. Of course I've never been one for too much girly stuff, but I can take it now and then

Anna thank you. You may consider yourself only a writer wannabe but I think your writing is very good. You should consider trying to get some of it published

Emm aww how sweet of you. Hope you have fun with your crafty stuff. I know I always do

beaded tail thanks, I'm hoping it's not one of those that just gets looked at then tossed...lol

junezach thank you very much. Sometimes I wonder if I bore people with too much of them

donna aww shucks, thanks

Erika there are times when my eyes and fingers don't always cooperate with me when I'm doing this. I did have to purchase a pair of reading glasses specifically for doing the quilling

sandee I always prefer something homemade. There's so much more thought put into it

audrey thank you. I'm not always good at color combination's but I thought this one worked well

Ann, that is beautiful. I love handmade cards and you certainly have a talent for them. Just a ? do you make customized cards for people? I other words if I wanted you to make a card for a special occasion can that be done? Thanks. You can email me at joanneolivieri@sbcglobal.net

Well here I was going to ask the same thing that Poetic Shutterbug did :) Do you make them to sell? Because if you don't, you really probably should! Well, unless that wouldn't make it fun anymore. But anyway...do let me know. Because I adore them. And was thinking...that a little card with a little squish of white in front of a tree of sorts just MIGHT look like a westie posing for a Christmas photo :)

Ann said...

poetic shutterbug thank you very much. I'll email you in a bit

DSS lol a little squish of white huh? Hmm I don't know if I could do anything that resembled a westie or not. I'll have to work on it.
