Volant part 2

Today we'll take a walk down Main Street in Volant
First stop, the Volant Mill Winery. Actually we decided to stop here last rather than carry any bottles around with us all day long. In the end we didn't even buy any.

Such an inviting little shop

With a name like Attic Treasures, there's got to be some great things in here

Santa had just arrived a half hour before you reached this place and it was packed. We did find some neat ideas and cool treasures in here though.

I just loved the decorations in the front of this shop. Especially that  bucket.

What a neat way to display some candles.
And there is still so much more to see but this is all for today.

How fun but you are right about that bucket. I would never have thought of something so clever. Right on the money with all those cranberries. I would have loved to poke around these places too.

Have a terrific day. My very best to Duke. :)

Thanks for visiting my blog, Ann. Are you a follower of Sandra's? Your blog is great, and you are such a good photographer!! I wish I could visit Volant Mill! What sicks out to me is the wonderful checkerboard chimney! Your card is exquisite, my crafts look awful compared with yours!

If not crack, then wine. Okay, I am starting to get the appeal of the place. Although, I have never really appreciated wine all that much, but I understand that many do.

Lin, believe it or not I didn't buy all that much

Catherine almost all the stores are old houses turned into stores. I love it

Sheri yes it is fun, I want to go back :)

Julie I think it would be fun to take all of you with me the next time I go

Sandee I thought of buying some of the star candles but they were a little pricey in my opinion but I'm going to see what I can find around here and try that

livintheblues but of course :)

beaded tail oh too bad, they should have a place like this everywhere

erika I just loved it. I want to do something like that

sharkbytes yes it was

Jean it did me too

Ginny thanks for stopping by and yes I am one of Sandra's followers, I love her blogs

Duni I think I might try it too

fishhawk yep, add wine and you've got a winner. Actually I very rarely drink at all but if I do I would prefer wine over other things

Russ aw sorry, but my friend said she never even finished the bottle she bought the year before so we just passed on it

Sandra you're welcome, glad you liked it

Miawa quaint is a very good word to describe it,

out on the prairie I would actually like to explore more of the surrounding area one of these days.
