The blogger who slept through Christmas

That's right, I slept through Christmas. I guess you could say that my biggest gift this year was a wonderful case of the flu that arrived at 1a.m. I don't recall putting that on my wish list so it must have been delivered by  mistake.
Now not only am I dreadfully behind on visiting all of you but I broke my streak of consecutive daily posts.
It's back to work tomorrow so laying around and resting for the day is what I plan on doing today.
I don't even have any pictures ready for you today.
I do hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas, I'll be by to check in on you as soon as I can.

I hope you feel better soon. Having the flu is the worst. You just want to die. No energy. You don't want to hydrate or eat. You just want to sleep.

I hope you feel better tomorrow. My very best to Duke. :)

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that, Ann. I had the same last year. My hubby got sick yesterday. Why is it that people always get sick during the holidays...
I hope you get to feeling better tomorrow. Now rest!!!
Hugs to Duke :)

Oh Ann we made a new video and there is one scene where I am holding up a box of Sudafed and a glass of juice.

That's not a joke. Both Walter and myself have been sick almost the entire time. Me for three days now and he's working on his second day.

I so so know how you feel and it's not good!!

Hope you and us get well soon. We have a nine hour drive ahead of us early early in the morning.

So sorry to hear you are down and out with the flu. Don't stress about missing a post or visiting. You do an incredible job at it ordinarily - better than anyone I know! Feel much better soon.

Thank you all so much for your well wishes. I'm starting to feel a little better but still a little on the tired side. Hope to be back up to par soon.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I don't care about the pictures, I don't need pictures to visit your blog. And your health is more important than a consecutive post record. I hope you don't HAVE to go to work if you are still sick! Sending healthy wishes your way, my friend!!

For shame. For shame. For shame. (All said while shaking my head back and forth, and sounding like Gomer Pyle.)

Okay, I'm sorry. Getting the flu on Christmas morning is nothing to joke about. I hope Duke licks you back to health real quick!

Hi Ann

I hope you feel better soon.

Happy New Year from Southern California. No snow here but a lot of flooding and record breaking rain! :-(

God Bless You, ~Ron :-)
