Lazy days and Sundays

Yesterday I was a bundle of energy with all the cleaning and today it was a perfectly lazy day.
Tell me though, what could be more perfect than spending a Sunday on the couch in your warm flannel pajama pants?
Only one thing I can think of could be better. That would be sitting on the couch in your warm flannel pajama pants with a little white westie snoozing on  your lap
Amanda reminded me the other day that it's been a whole year today that she moved to Colorado. I can't believe it's been that long already although some days it feels like she's been gone forever.

I knew it! I knew it! I knew what was going to be the thing that made it better. (I have a red dog's head on my ankles)

Yep you are spending the day as it should be spent. I will say that Duke is doing it better. He always does but you already know that. Love that second shot.

Have a lazy Sunday. We are doing the same. My best to Duke. :)

Awwwww. You two are so cute together! I actually have to boot Hobbes OFF my legs because he's too heavy!

Sunday is always such a good day to be lazy and stay in the flannel jammies. And if a four legged friend curls up with us ~ so much the better!

Looks cozy! My grandson came over today and asked me why I wasn't dressed. I told him so I can cuddle with you.

That is basically how my wife spent the day: wrapped-up in a blanket with a Siamese on her lap (Koko and Yum Yum took turns) :)

Now that looks like the perfect way to spend a Sunday or anyday for that matter! Sadie is a little too big for laps but that doesn't stop her from trying!

Awww, I love his little coat! And your chubby little penguins. Now this is what Sundays are supposed to be all about!

Just the thing you need on a Sunday :) the white furry head on your tummy is the best thing since umm... sliced bread :D

Not sure who looks more relaxed: you or the darling puppy in his own pjs!

There is, however, nothing like the love of a sweet, sweet, white fuzzy puppy to make even the hardest times seem not so bad. (Now, go fry him some bacon!)

tell that sweet little westie I love his bone sweater. the only thing better that i can think of is sitting on the sofa with my flannel gown on and fluffy socks with a boxer mix on my lap. which is what i had this morning.

Grace that's pretty busy :) what ya been up to?

Such a wonderful lazy day....I often dream of these but they never quite pan out that way. The last time I spent a day in my pj's was after my operation and I hurt so much I couldn't actually appreciate the fact.... :-(

I'm having one of those days today..:)

Duke look at you with your PJ's on. Looks like you are having a great day sleeping in Mom's lap. Hope all of you have a super week.

Sweet, pajama Sundays are the best. I'm curious, how old is Duke? Wouldn't it be nice to never really look older like dogs don't?

Doris Sturm said...

I can think of nothing more cozy than staying in your PJs and snoozing with your dog - unfortunately my little Gizzy is not a lap dog - even though he's the perfect size for it (10.5 lbs.) but I manage to get a squeeze and a hug in every now and again.

I LOVE those flannel pj's! And of course, having Duke snuggling on your lap makes any day better :)

Ann said...

allotments4you it's nice to get to spend the day like this but having an operation in order to get it isn't so nice

livingtheblues, good for you, we all need one now and then

marg, it was a pj kind of day

ann Duke will be 3 this summer. Oh my I can't believe my little pup is going to be that old :)

doris I don't do it often but I sure enjoyed it. Duke loves to sit in your lap and he takes advantage of it any time he can

dss I actually just found them the day before stored away in a bag. I pulled them out and thought, I need to sit around in these all day :)
